David joined the Akira team as a Senior Advisor to Akira in 2015. He was formerly a Senior Partner at Linklaters, where he was involved in a range of corporate finance transactions including M&A, joint ventures and flotations over a period of nearly four decades.

David joined Akira in 2019. He is a native and citizen of Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1968, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Andre has worked in M&A since 1994 and is a former Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and head of M&A at Vodafone Group Plc. He has executed US$430bn worth of M&A deals and has served as a board member of Vodacom.

Matthias started his corporate finance career in the investment banking division of UBS in 2005 advising telecoms and media companies on M&A projects, debt and equity financings. He joined Akira Partners in 2009.

Alberto is a seasoned corporate finance adviser with over 10 years of experience in TMT investment banking, the last nine working for J.P. Morgan in London. During his career, he has closed over 20 deals in EMEA with an aggregate value of $60bn.

Georgi joined Akira in 2021. He began his corporate finance career by spending seven years at Goldman Sachs in New York.
